The SKF 6003/C3 is an open single row deep groove ball bearing designed for smooth rotation and efficient shaft support. Design and Construction
The SKF 6003/C3 features deep raceway grooves and a single row of steel balls guided by a sheet metal cage. Its bearing steel construction provides strength and supports efficient load distribution during operation.

C3 Internal Clearance and Open Design
The bearing features C3 radial internal clearance, which provides greater clearance than a bearing with normal internal clearance. This helps compensate for reductions in operating clearance caused by interference fits and temperature differences between the bearing rings. Its open design without seals or shields allows direct grease or oil lubrication.
