Equivalent to 6910-2RS
The SKF 61910-2RS1 sealed thin-section deep groove ball bearing is a practical choice for machines that require a relatively large shaft opening without the weight and housing diameter of a wider bearing series. Its 619 series construction gives it an 11mm radial section, providing additional capacity compared with the extra-thin 61810 while occupying less space than the corresponding 6010 bearing. The single row deep groove arrangement supports predominantly radial loads and limited axial forces in either direction. SKF specifies a basic dynamic load rating of 14.6kN and a basic static load rating of 11.8kN, helping designers evaluate bearing life and suitability for different loading conditions.
The 2RS1 rubber contact seals protect both sides of the bearing, keeping the factory grease in place and helping to exclude dirt and moisture. This is particularly valuable in enclosed mechanical assemblies with restricted access for servicing. SKF lists a sealed limiting speed of 5,600rpm; operating temperature, bearing load and contact seal friction should also be assessed before selecting a continuous running speed. The normal radial internal clearance requires correctly specified shaft and housing fits, especially when interference mounting or thermal expansion could reduce clearance in service. Because this is a thin-section bearing, accurate alignment and even housing support help minimise raceway distortion and maintain smooth rotation.
Typical Applications:
Compact industrial rotary drives
Automation and indexing mechanisms
Space-restricted shaft support assemblies
Enclosed precision mechanical equipment
Light-duty industrial pumps and fan assemblies
