The SKF 63010-2RS1 sealed deep groove ball bearing offers an unusual combination of a relatively narrow radial envelope and a generous axial width. Its 50mm bore and 80mm outside diameter match the 6010 series, but the 23mm width requires a different arrangement of shaft shoulders, spacers and housing retainers. It should not be confused with the much larger 6310 bearing, which has a 110mm outside diameter. The single row deep groove design accommodates radial loads and axial forces in either direction within its rated capacity. SKF specifies a basic dynamic load rating of 21.6kN and a basic static load rating of 15.6kN, so the wider construction should not be interpreted as a guarantee of greater load capacity.
The 2RS1 rubber contact seals retain factory grease and help limit the ingress of moisture, dust and other contaminants, making this design useful where routine relubrication access is restricted. SKF publishes a limiting speed of 5,000rpm for the bearing, although sustained operation must account for loading, temperature and friction from the contacting seals. Normal (CN) radial internal clearance requires suitable shaft and housing fits to preserve the necessary running clearance after mounting. The bearing's approximately 0.38kg mass and 23mm width provide additional identification checks during replacement. Always verify the complete designation against the original equipment specification.
Typical Applications:
Industrial conveyor shaft support assemblies
Specialised machinery with 23mm-wide bearing seats
Enclosed mechanical drive and transmission units
Industrial automation and handling mechanisms
Compact pump and rotating equipment assemblies
