The SKF 6305/C3 is an open single row deep groove ball bearing designed to provide smooth rotation and effective shaft support. Design and Construction
The SKF 6305/C3 features a single row of steel balls running between deep raceway grooves. A sheet metal cage separates and guides the rolling elements during operation.
Manufactured from bearing steel, it provides effective load support under suitable operating conditions. Its dimensions of 25x62x17mm make it suitable for assemblies requiring the standard 6305 bearing size.
C3 Internal Clearance and Open Design
The bearing features C3 radial internal clearance, which is greater than normal clearance. This helps compensate for reductions in operating clearance caused by interference fits and temperature differences between the bearing rings.
Its open design without seals or shields allows grease or oil to reach the rolling elements directly. Suitable external sealing may be necessary to protect against contamination and lubricant loss.
