The SKF 6013-2RS1 sealed deep groove ball bearing provides a compact bearing arrangement for 65mm industrial shafts where radial load capacity, installation dimensions and rotational performance must be balanced. Its single row deep groove construction accommodates predominantly radial loads alongside moderate axial forces acting in either direction. SKF specifies a basic dynamic load rating of 31.9kN, a basic static load rating of 25kN and a limiting speed of 4,000rpm. These values provide a basis for assessing suitability against the machinery's load cycle, expected service life and operating conditions. The narrow 60 series design is useful where larger bearing cross-sections are unnecessary.
The 2RS1 rubber contact seals retain factory grease and help protect the rolling elements against dust, dirt and moisture. This reduces routine lubrication demands in enclosed equipment and assemblies where servicing access is restricted. Unlike the separately designated 6013-2RS1/GJN, this version does not specify the GJN grease fill, so the exact lubricant requirement should be checked when replacing a bearing. Normal radial internal clearance also distinguishes it from C3 variants. Correct shaft fits, housing tolerances and operating temperatures remain important, particularly because contact seals introduce additional friction compared with an open bearing.
Typical Applications:
Industrial electric motor shaft supports
Centrifugal pumps and circulation equipment
Industrial fans and ventilation assemblies
Conveyor pulley and drive shaft systems
General mechanical transmission equipment
