The SKF 6219-2RS1 sealed deep groove ball bearing provides robust rotational support for equipment incorporating a 95mm shaft and significant radial loading. Its 62 series raceway construction offers greater carrying capability than the narrower 6019 series while requiring less radial space than a 6319 bearing. The single row design also accommodates axial loads in either direction, subject to operating conditions and the bearing's rated capacity. SKF catalogue specifications give a basic dynamic load rating of 114kN and a basic static load rating of 81.5kN. These ratings provide a basis for calculating fatigue life and checking stationary or peak loading rather than assuming suitability from shaft size alone.
The 2RS1 rubber contact seals form a protective barrier on both sides, retaining factory grease and restricting the ingress of contamination. This makes the bearing useful in enclosed industrial machinery where regular relubrication is difficult. SKF lists a limiting speed of 2,400rpm for the contact-sealed configuration, considerably lower than the open version because of seal friction. Operating temperature, grease condition and applied loads must also be considered when determining a suitable continuous speed. Normal radial internal clearance distinguishes this version from 6219-2RS1/C3, which has greater initial internal clearance. Correct shaft fits, housing alignment and installation procedures are essential, particularly when replacing bearings in large motor or transmission assemblies.
Typical Applications:
Large industrial electric motor assemblies
Heavy-duty conveyor drive shafts
Industrial pumps and fluid-handling equipment
Large ventilation fans and extraction machinery
Mechanical power transmission and drive systems
