SKF 6010 Open Deep Groove Ball Bearing
The SKF 6010 is an open single row deep groove ball bearing designed for efficient shaft support and smooth rotation. It accommodates radial loads and axial loads in both directions while maintaining low friction. Its relatively slim construction makes it a practical choice for rotating equipment requiring a 50mm bore and normal radial internal clearance.
Design and Construction
The SKF 6010 features a single row of steel balls running between deep raceway grooves. A steel cage separates and guides the rolling elements during rotation.
Its bearing steel construction provides strength and effective load support under suitable operating conditions. With dimensions of 50x80x16mm, it offers a smaller outside diameter than the 6210 series while retaining the same 50mm bore.
Open Design and Internal Clearance
The bearing features an open design without seals or shields. This allows grease or oil to reach the rolling elements directly and makes it suitable for machinery with an appropriate lubrication system.
It has normal radial internal clearance for applications where standard clearance is specified. Suitable external sealing may be necessary to prevent contamination and lubricant loss.
