SKF 6004-2RSH/C3 Sealed Deep Groove Ball Bearing
The SKF 6004-2RSH/C3 is a sealed single row deep groove ball bearing designed for smooth rotation and efficient shaft support in compact machinery. It accommodates radial loads and axial loads in both directions while combining protective contact seals with increased internal clearance.
Design and Construction
The SKF 6004-2RSH/C3 features a single row of steel balls running between deep raceway grooves. A sheet metal cage separates and guides the rolling elements during rotation.
Its bearing steel construction provides strength and effective load support under suitable operating conditions. With dimensions of 20x42x12mm, it offers a slim bearing arrangement for equipment where installation space is limited.
2RSH Contact Seals and C3 Internal Clearance
The 2RSH designation indicates rubber contact seals on both sides of the bearing. These seals help retain factory applied grease while restricting the entry of dust, moisture and other contaminants.
The bearing is supplied lubricated and sealed for low maintenance operation. It is not designed for routine relubrication.
Its C3 radial internal clearance is greater than normal clearance. This helps compensate for reductions in operating clearance caused by interference fits and temperature differences between the bearing rings.

If normal radial internal clearance is required, the SKF 6004-2RSH may be more suitable. For machinery requiring direct grease or oil lubrication, consider an appropriate open SKF 6004 variant.
