SKF 6000-2RSH Sealed Deep Groove Ball Bearing
The SKF 6000-2RSH is a sealed single row deep groove ball bearing designed for smooth rotation and efficient support of rotating shafts. It accommodates radial loads and axial loads in both directions while providing the additional protection of integral rubber contact seals.
Its compact dimensions and factory grease lubrication make it a practical choice for equipment requiring the standard 6000 bearing size with normal internal clearance.
Design and Construction
The SKF 6000-2RSH features a single row of steel balls running between deep raceway grooves. A sheet metal cage separates and guides the rolling elements during rotation.
Its bearing steel construction provides strength and effective load support under suitable operating conditions. With dimensions of 10x26x8mm, it offers a slim bearing arrangement for machinery where installation space is limited.
2RSH Contact Seals and Internal Clearance
The 2RSH designation indicates rubber contact seals on both sides of the bearing. These seals help retain the factory applied grease while restricting the entry of dust, moisture and other contaminants.
The bearing is supplied lubricated and sealed for low maintenance operation. It is not designed for routine relubrication.
It has normal radial internal clearance for applications where standard clearance is specified. The contact seals provide additional protection but introduce more friction than an open bearing.
