SKF 6000-2RSH/C3 Sealed Deep Groove Ball Bearing
The SKF 6000-2RSH/C3 is a sealed single row deep groove ball bearing designed for smooth rotation and effective shaft support in compact mechanical assemblies. It accommodates radial loads and axial loads in both directions while combining increased internal clearance with integral contact seals.
Design and Construction
The SKF 6000-2RSH/C3 features a single row of steel balls running between deep raceway grooves. A stamped steel cage separates and guides the rolling elements during operation.
Its bearing steel construction provides strength and effective load support under suitable operating conditions. With dimensions of 10x26x8mm, it offers a slim bearing arrangement for equipment requiring the standard 6000 size.
2RSH Contact Seals and C3 Internal Clearance
The 2RSH designation indicates rubber contact seals on both sides of the bearing. These help retain the factory applied grease while restricting the entry of dust, moisture and other contaminants.
The bearing is supplied lubricated and sealed for low maintenance operation. It is not designed for routine relubrication.
Its C3 radial internal clearance is greater than normal clearance. This helps compensate for reductions in operating clearance caused by interference fits and temperature differences between the bearing rings.
