The SKF 6004/C3 is an open single row deep groove ball bearing designed for efficient shaft support in compact rotating machinery. Design and Construction
The SKF 6004/C3 features a single row of steel balls guided by a sheet metal cage. Its deep raceway grooves support efficient load distribution and low friction during rotation.
With dimensions of 20x42x12mm, it provides a slim bearing arrangement for assemblies requiring the 6004 size and C3 clearance.
C3 Internal Clearance and Open Design
The bearing features C3 radial internal clearance, which is greater than normal clearance. This helps compensate for reductions in operating clearance caused by interference fits and temperature differences between the bearing rings.
