SKF 6300-2RSH Sealed Deep Groove Ball Bearing
The SKF 6300-2RSH is a single row deep groove ball bearing designed for smooth rotation and effective shaft support in compact mechanical assemblies. It accommodates radial loads and axial loads in both directions while offering the added protection of integral contact seals.
Unlike the open SKF 6300, this version is supplied with grease and sealed on both sides, reducing the need for routine lubrication.
Design and Construction
The SKF 6300-2RSH features steel balls running between deep raceway grooves. A stamped steel cage separates and guides the rolling elements during operation.
Its bearing steel construction provides strength and effective load support. With dimensions of 10x35x11mm, the bearing offers a robust cross section for machinery designed around the standard 6300 bearing size.
2RSH Contact Seals and Internal Clearance
The 2RSH designation indicates synthetic rubber contact seals on both sides of the bearing. These seals help retain lubricant and restrict the entry of dust, moisture and other contaminants during operation.
The bearing is greased for life under suitable operating conditions and is not designed for routine relubrication. Its normal radial internal clearance makes it appropriate for assemblies where standard clearance is specified.

If increased internal clearance is required, the SKF 6300-2RSH/C3 may be more suitable. For machinery with a dedicated lubrication system, the open SKF 6300 may be preferable.
