SKF 6204-2RSH Sealed Deep Groove Ball Bearing
The SKF 6204-2RSH is a sealed single row deep groove ball bearing designed for smooth rotation and effective support of rotating shafts. It accommodates radial loads and axial loads in both directions while providing additional protection through integral rubber contact seals.
Its factory grease lubrication and standard internal clearance make it a practical option for equipment requiring the 6204 bearing size with reduced routine maintenance.
Design and Construction
The SKF 6204-2RSH features a single row of steel balls running between deep raceway grooves. A stamped steel cage maintains the separation of the rolling elements during rotation.
Its bearing steel construction provides strength and effective load support under suitable operating conditions. With dimensions of 20x47x14mm, it fits mechanical assemblies designed around the standard 6204 bearing dimensions.
2RSH Contact Seals and Internal Clearance
The 2RSH designation indicates rubber contact seals on both sides of the bearing. These help retain factory applied grease while restricting the entry of dust, moisture and other contaminants.
The bearing is supplied lubricated and sealed for low maintenance operation. It is not designed for routine relubrication.
It has normal radial internal clearance for applications where standard clearance is specified. The contact seals offer additional protection but introduce more friction than an open bearing.
