SKF 6301-2RSH/C3 Sealed Deep Groove Ball Bearing
The SKF 6301-2RSH/C3 is a sealed single row deep groove ball bearing designed for smooth rotation and effective shaft support in compact industrial machinery. It accommodates radial loads and axial loads in both directions while combining protective rubber contact seals with increased C3 internal clearance.
Design and Construction
The SKF 6301-2RSH/C3 features a single row of steel balls running between deep raceway grooves. A sheet metal cage separates and guides the rolling elements during rotation.
Its bearing steel construction provides strength and effective load support under suitable operating conditions. With dimensions of 12x37x12mm, it offers a substantial bearing profile for machinery requiring a 12mm shaft bore.
2RSH Contact Seals and C3 Internal Clearance
The 2RSH designation indicates rubber contact seals on both sides of the bearing. These help retain factory applied grease while restricting the entry of dust, moisture and other contaminants.
The bearing is supplied grease lubricated and sealed for low maintenance operation. Routine relubrication is not normally required.
Its C3 radial internal clearance is greater than normal clearance. This helps compensate for reductions in operating clearance caused by interference fits and temperature differences between the bearing rings. Contact seals offer additional protection but introduce more friction than an open bearing.
